How close calligraphy is to painting?

Li Yung is one of the greatest calligraphers of all times. This fabulous book was given to me as a gift by my dear friend Billy Zhou who has his fiance in China.

I juxtapose my recent work: Summer Hills with an intention to show the closeness of painting to calligraphy.                 Ben Taishing
